  • Davao diabetologist links pickleball boom with diabetes prevention

Inihahanda ang salin; tekstong Ingles muna ang ipinapakita.

Dr. Gener Rubio, a Davao City internist-diabetologist, says rising interest in pickleball and other exercise can help people with diabetes improve blood glucose levels. Speaking at a Department of Health-XI press conference, he recommended rigorous activity such as pickleball for 30 minutes a day, three times a week, rather than one long weekly session. He also stressed pairing exercise with a proper diet and said rural communities need more screening and awareness.

    Pagsusuri ng Coachino

The guidance offers clubs and coaches a practical health message to share: encourage regular, manageable activity and healthy eating, while reminding people with diabetes to consult their doctor before starting an exercise plan.
